Israeli military operations in Gaza over the past 24 hours have resulted in at least 71 Palestinian deaths and 251 injuries, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Airstrikes and artillery shelling targeted multiple locations including residential homes, schools, and displaced persons' shelters across Gaza City, Khan Younis, and northern Gaza. Notably, an Israeli attack on Amr Ibn Al-Ass School in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City killed at least 12 displaced civilians and injured dozens more. Other strikes hit areas such as Al-Sabra, Al-Mashrou’, Al-Tuffah, Jabalia al-Balad, and the Al-Shati refugee camp. Several children and aid seekers were among the casualties. Israeli forces also opened gunfire on civilians at aid-seeking locations like the Zikim corridor and Netzarim corridor. The attacks included drone strikes, tank missile fire, and quadcopter bombings, with no prior warning given for some incidents. The escalation has led to widespread destruction of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in the southern Gaza Strip and Gaza City.
