
Israeli forces have killed at least four Palestinians who were seeking aid while traveling through a military zone south of Gaza City, an area commonly used to access food distribution points and hospitals, according to multiple witnesses and hospital reports. This incident occurred on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Subsequently, Israeli military actions have continued across Gaza, resulting in additional casualties. Reports indicate that five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing near the Haleema Al-Saadiya school in Jabalia al-Nazla in northern Gaza, and four more were killed in an airstrike at the entrance of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Another strike in the Al-Bureij refugee camp killed one Palestinian and wounded others. In southern Gaza's Al-Sabra neighborhood, a residential block was bombed, causing multiple injuries. Further drone strikes targeted displacement tents in the Al Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, killing between two and three Palestinians and injuring others. Palestinian media reported a total of 61 fatalities from Israeli airstrikes across various locations in Gaza since early Thursday, including 19 individuals who were seeking aid. The ongoing Israeli military operations have resulted in numerous casualties and injuries among Palestinians in Gaza.
