Israeli settlers set fire to vehicles and caravans and vandalised several homes in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on 16 August, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA. The agency said the group also stormed the nearby Marj Sa'i plain that lies between Al-Mughayyir and the neighbouring village of Abu Falah, damaging agricultural land. In a separate incident the same day, WAFA reported that Khodor Nawajaa, a Palestinian resident of Susya in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron, was injured during an assault by settlers. Both locations are in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, where tensions between settlers and Palestinian communities have intensified over property and land disputes.
