
Crusoe Energy, a Denver-based Bitcoin miner, has announced a multibillion-dollar deal to build an initial 200-megawatt data center for artificial intelligence at the Lancium Clean Campus outside Abilene, Texas. This project marks the first phase of a larger 1.2 gigawatt initiative with plans to expand. At completion, each data center building will be capable of operating up to 100,000 GPUs on a single integrated network fabric. The specially designed AI data center is expected to come online in 2025.
