Epic Games launched Fortnite Festival Season 10 on 26 August with a collaboration that brings the virtual band Gorillaz into the game. Patch 37.10 introduces a Plastic Beach–inspired main stage and a dedicated Music Pass that unlocks Gorillaz-themed content throughout the season. Players can purchase skins for band members 2D and Noodle from the item shop, while the paid Music Pass awards drummer Russel Hobbs and bassist Murdoc Niccals, along with instruments, emotes and in-game tracks. Individual Jam Tracks for hits such as “DARE” and “Clint Eastwood” are also on sale, and the Feel Good Inc track appears in the wider Festival playlist. The deal extends Fortnite’s strategy of using high-profile music partnerships to deepen player engagement and generate cosmetic-item revenue. Previous seasons have featured artists including Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter; the arrival of Gorillaz continues Epic’s push to position the free-to-play shooter as a music and entertainment platform as well as a game.
