Initially slated for July 4, 2025, the album's pre-order and six new tracks were released on July 4, with the full album release date subsequently moved to July 25, 2025. The album features collaborations with artists including Playboi Carti and Mellow Rackz. Playboi Carti confirmed his involvement on the track "Fire Your Manager" and indicated plans to release his own project "BABY BOI" following MASA. This album marks YoungBoy's first major release since his federal prison release.
