Morgan Wallen returned to the top of the Billboard 200 dated Aug. 16 with "I’m the Problem," which earned 136,000 equivalent album units, according to Luminate. The 10th non-consecutive week at No. 1 makes Wallen the first artist to log at least 10 weeks at the summit with three consecutive full-length releases. The country star’s streak began with "Dangerous: The Double Album," which ruled for 10 straight weeks in 2021, and continued with "One Thing at a Time," the 2023-24 set that spent 19 weeks at No. 1. Together, the three albums have accumulated 39 weeks in the lead position, tying Wallen with Elton John for fourth-most weeks at No. 1 among male acts, behind only Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks and Michael Jackson. The Beatles remain the all-time leaders with 132 weeks. On the Hot 100 for the same chart week, Alex Warren’s long-running hit "Ordinary" slipped to No. 2 after nine weeks at the summit, while Chappell Roan scored a career-best No. 3 debut with "The Subway," her fourth top-10 entry. Wallen remains a dominant singles presence, placing "What I Want," his duet with Tate McRae, at No. 4 and solo cut "Just in Case" at No. 7. Other notable chart moves include rapper Yeat’s "Dangerous Summer," new at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 with 34,000 units, and Sabrina Carpenter’s "Short n’ Sweet," which climbs six spots to No. 10 on 30,000 units, bringing her album’s cumulative total to 3.36 million.
