Jokic, Gilgeous-Alexander Top NBA 2K26 Ratings Ahead of 5 Sept. Launch
2K Sports has released its initial player ratings for NBA 2K26, the latest instalment of the best-selling basketball video-game franchise due on 5 September. Two-time NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic and reigning league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander share the top overall rating at 98. Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo follows at 97. Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic and Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards are tied at 95. Four players—Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Jayson Tatum and French phenom Victor Wembanyama—sit at 94, while Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant opens at 93. The ratings mark a notable rise for Wembanyama, who has climbed from an overall 91 in last year’s edition to break into the game’s top ten. Additional ratings and roster updates are expected as the NBA offseason progresses and ahead of the title’s launch across current- and next-generation consoles.
