
The NCAA Division I Board of Directors has approved changes allowing student-athletes to transfer an unlimited number of times without penalty and permitting schools to facilitate Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals with third parties. Additionally, immediate eligibility for transfers has been approved regardless of the number of transfers, as long as academic requirements are met. The Pac-12 conference has lost its autonomous legislative powers and representation on the board, being classified as a 'nonautonomous FBS conference.'
