The University of North Carolina (UNC) will release a season-long documentary series on Hulu this fall, chronicling Bill Belichick's inaugural season as head coach of the Tar Heels football team. The docuseries, styled similarly to HBO's "Hard Knocks," was announced by UNC and confirmed by multiple sources, including Belichick himself, who informed his team about the filming after cameras had already begun capturing practices. The series aims to showcase Belichick's efforts to transform UNC's football program, which has historically been overshadowed by the school's successful men's basketball team. Over the past 25 seasons, UNC's football record stands at 157-156, reflecting inconsistent performance. Belichick, known for his meticulous coaching style and work ethic, spent the previous year studying successful college programs, notably the University of Washington, to develop a blueprint for building a winning team at UNC. The documentary will provide an inside look at his coaching approach and the culture change he seeks to implement in Chapel Hill.

"I know there's been documentaries and books written about Bill Belichick's time in New England.. He actually wasn't working in the background" 😂 @mlombardiuncgm #PMSLive https://t.co/0gv6xLyqkX
Bill Belichick spent last year searching for a blueprint for building a successful college program. He didn’t find it at Texas or Alabama, but at the University of Washington. https://t.co/X9G9w3tijp
