Meanwhile, prominent crypto trader Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, sold substantial amounts of cryptocurrencies in the past six hours, including 2,373 ETH valued at $8.32 million, 7.76 million ENA tokens worth $4.62 million, and 38.86 billion PEPE tokens valued at $414,700. Hayes also forecasted that Bitcoin could reach $100,000 and Ethereum $3,000 in the third quarter, citing macroeconomic pressures such as the U.S. tariff bill and weak credit creation across major economies. Additionally, a trader identified as "qwatio" increased short positions on ETH by 18,000 tokens, equivalent to $63.28 million, and added shorts on XRP and SOL, generating a current unrealized profit of $6.41 million since initiating the positions.
