The New Orleans Saints have reached an agreement to acquire wide receiver Devaughn Vele from the Denver Broncos, according to multiple reports citing league sources. In exchange, Denver will receive the Saints’ fourth-round selection in the 2026 NFL Draft and a seventh-round pick in 2027. Vele, 25, was part of a crowded receiving corps in Denver and becomes the latest addition to a New Orleans offense that has sought depth and size on the perimeter. He posted 43 receptions for 612 yards and four touchdowns last season, his second year in the league after joining the Broncos as an undrafted free agent from Utah. The trade is pending a physical and is expected to be processed immediately, positioning Vele to join New Orleans before the start of the 2025 regular season.
