Infinex, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform, has gained notable traction in the crypto community, particularly following its Patron NFT sale in September 2024, which raised $67.7 million in funding. The Patron NFTs, initially purchased for approximately $1,200, have appreciated to around $6,320 and are widely held by prominent Ethereum DeFi founders and early adopters. Infinex positions itself as a comprehensive crypto operating system designed to simplify user experience by eliminating the need for seed phrases, complex bridges, and managing multiple wallets across chains. The platform is also launching Infinex Connect, an ecosystem feature that integrates various services and partners. Notably, Infinex has partnered with FogoChain, a blockchain focused on fast, low-cost, finance-oriented transactions, which will be a day-one launch partner for Infinex Connect. This collaboration aims to enhance user onboarding and provide access to FogoChain’s ecosystem directly through Infinex accounts, promising a streamlined and efficient experience for users. Interviews with Infinex representatives have highlighted the platform’s inception, competitive positioning against centralized exchanges, and future developments including the integration of partners like FogoChain and NEAR Protocol.
