Magic Eden's Airdrop Faces User Backlash Over App Requirement, Seed Phrase Entry, and U.S. Access Issues

Magic Eden, a prominent NFT marketplace, has recently launched an airdrop that has drawn criticism from users for its complicated eligibility process and requirements. Users reported frustration over being forced to download a mobile app to claim their airdrop tokens, with some expressing disbelief at the need to enter sensitive information such as a seed phrase. Additionally, concerns were raised about the airdrop not being accessible to U.S. residents, further complicating the process for many. Despite the challenges, some users expressed gratitude for the airdrop itself, indicating a mixed reception to the initiative.
