MegaETH, a new layer-2 solution on Ethereum, has successfully completed its Fluffle NFT mint, raising approximately 4,960 ETH, equivalent to about $13.16 million USD. The mint sold out in 25 minutes during the first-come, first-served (FCFS) wave 2. The Fluffle NFTs are non-transferable, meaning they cannot be sold, but they grant holders at least 5% of MegaETH's total token supply. This mint follows MegaETH's recent $10 million sale of the EchoDot project, bringing the total funds raised from individual investors to $23.16 million, surpassing the amount raised from venture capital. MegaETH is noted for its high performance, with 10 millisecond block times and up to 100,000 transactions per second (TPS), and it supports a cohort of 16 projects known as the MegaMafia, which focus on real-time applications like high-frequency trading, on-chain gaming, and money markets.
very cool to wake up after having megaeth allo to being stuck behind a waiting room UI forever and then it minted out really love this thoughtful mint meta from megaeth team. Super bullish that they started with a gas war and ended with this forever a megaeth hater/fudder now
Mint is still going for @EggonChain so I minted some. Can't wait to see the reveal of these. https://t.co/Z76gTqFgH0 https://t.co/NT3PgWmHwk
MegaETH NFT is a pretty good deal. Only 1 $ETH ($2,600). Exposure to a new project for only $2,400? Count me in. Can’t pass up minting this for only $2,100. Would definitely spend $1,800 again to mint if I could. Will be nice in a few months knowing I only spent $1,200.
