The program distributed $27,500 among top contributors who created content supporting Sophon, with a total of $150,000 allocated for the entire rewards season. Sophon currently manages over $150 million in total value locked (TVL) across staking, liquidity pools, and partner decentralized applications. The Yapper Rewards program spans three months, with the first round completed and two more months remaining for participants to earn rewards. Users on Kaito have reported earning Yaps, which are points or tokens awarded for content creation, with some earning as many as 50 Yaps over a few days by focusing on projects like Sophon, MegaETH Labs, and AbstractChain. The program encourages content creation and engagement around Sophon and other projects on Kaito, aiming to build a community around AI-native blockchain solutions. Season 2 of the rewards has already started, with $122,500 remaining to be distributed. Participants highlight the program's inclusivity, allowing accounts of all sizes to compete and earn rewards, and the potential impact of Sophon's AI-native design on Web3 development.
