'SOURCE [On NFTs]' Launches March 12 at Christie's: Auction Starts at 5 ETH, 'The Hard Code Edition' Book Included

The launch of 'SOURCE [On NFTs],' a generative collection by Robert Alice, on March 12 at Christie's 3.0, marks a significant moment in the digital art world. The collection, which includes a Dutch auction from 11am - 1pm ET with starting prices at 5 ETH and a resting price of 0.3 ETH, features 400 editions. Buyers who mint above 1.5 ETH will receive the first editions of the 'On NFTs' book, published by TASCHEN, titled 'The Hard Code Edition.' This publication, described as the first major art historical survey on the medium, examines the evolution of digital art as NFTs and includes contributions from 101 artists along with 10 deep-dive writings on various topics related to digital art. The book also features studies for the algorithm used in the collection as its endpapers, commissioned by TASCHEN. Additionally, all minting collectors are offered a unique printing service for their NFTs, allowing for prints up to 2 by 3 meters wide, with secondary buyers receiving a smaller maximum size.
