The Starknet Foundation has announced the recipients of its Propulsion Program, a $20 million initiative aimed at accelerating gaming projects on the Starknet platform. The program is expected to bring significant advancements to the on-chain gaming ecosystem, leveraging Starknet's capabilities for cheap and powerful computation. Upcoming updates to Starknet will include 2-second transaction confirmation times, reduced block times, and a 2.1 times increase in computation capacity, which will greatly enhance the user experience for on-chain gaming. The first cohort of games emerging from this initiative is already generating excitement within the community. Starknet aims to become the home of fully on-chain games (FOCGs).
