President Joe Biden's reelection campaign raised a record $28 million at a star-studded Hollywood event in Los Angeles featuring celebrities such as Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Jason Bateman, Jack Black, Kathryn Hahn, and Jimmy Kimmel. This event broke the previous record set by Biden in March when he raised $26 million at an event in New York. Ahead of the event, Jeffrey Katzenberg, a longtime Hollywood producer and co-chairman of the Biden campaign, predicted a record-setting turnout. The campaign also plans a $50 million June advertising blitz targeting minority voters in battleground states. Additionally, Biden's campaign raised a total of $40 million over five days, including $8 million at a joint fundraiser with Bill Clinton.
