
China has sentenced the ex-soccer chief and former president of the Chinese Football Association to life in prison for corruption charges. The crackdown on sports corruption has also involved the former head coach of China’s national men’s soccer team and a former vice-president of the Chinese Football Association who pleaded guilty to bribery charges.
