
The National Rifle Association (NRA) and its former CEO, Wayne LaPierre, were found liable in a lawsuit for misusing millions of dollars on luxurious trips and extravagant expenses. A New York jury determined that LaPierre misspent millions of dollars from the organization, ordering him to pay restitution of $4,351,231. The jury also recommended LaPierre repay almost $4.4 million to the NRA for misspending the organization's funds.
