Sierra Leone is planning to raise $150 million for a comprehensive digital hub strategy. This initiative includes the development of a new Tech City and an innovation fund aimed at supporting startups. The strategy was discussed during a tech summit organized by the Ministry of Communications and Technology Innovation (MoCTI), where key figures such as the Bank Governor, Dr. Ibrahim Stevens, and Chidozie Arinze from Visa participated. The focus is on creating an effective pre-seed financing ecosystem to foster entrepreneurship and attract talent in Sierra Leone.
