Solana Surges 11% with TSX Spot ETF, 79% U.S. Approval Odds, Outpacing Ethereum and Bitcoin Gains

Solana (SOL) has experienced notable gains recently, rising 11% in a week, outperforming other top-ten cryptocurrencies including Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC). This surge follows the listing of spot SOL exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and an increased likelihood of U.S. regulatory approval, with Polymarket assigning a 79% chance for a spot SOL ETF approval. Additionally, SOL has been trading at a premium in South Korea this week. Over a three-day period, SOL increased by 10%, while ETH and BTC rose by 4% and 3%, respectively. Market participants have been recommending selling ETH in favor of buying SOL, reflecting a bullish sentiment towards Solana amid expectations of a broader crypto market rally.
