The Milwaukee Brewers wiped out an early 8–1 hole against the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night in Cincinnati, keeping alive a 12-game winning streak that had appeared in jeopardy after just two innings. Left-fielder Christian Yelich drove the comeback with two home runs hit using a custom Bob Uecker-themed bat. The 31-year-old finished the evening’s first five frames 4-for-4 with five RBIs; his second blast, and 24th of the season, put Milwaukee ahead 9–8. Sports-book operator ESPN BET said in-game odds on the Brewers ballooned to +1800 before the rally began. The game was still in progress at press time.
