
Ken Griffin is planning to break ground next year on a 54-story tower in Miami that will serve as the headquarters of his Citadel financial empire. The new global headquarters, located at 1201 Brickell Bay Drive, will rise 1,032 feet above sea level and include 1,293,373 square feet of office space, 212 hotel rooms, off-site parking, and 23,950 square feet of restaurant space. The project marks the first phase of a multi-phase development and will feature amenities such as a health spa, fitness club, ballroom, and conference/event spaces. A Philadelphia developer has been enlisted as a consultant on the project.
