Researchers at cybersecurity firm Sophos are monitoring multiple clusters of hacking activities that exploit Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and email bombing tactics to deliver ransomware. Cybercriminals are impersonating remote tech-support workers on Microsoft Teams to gain access to networks and install malicious software. This tactic aims to compromise victims' systems and install harmful software. Additionally, there are reports of Russian scammers targeting crypto influencers with infostealers and spreading malware through Telegram, including a virus known as Mamont, which captures push notifications, SMS messages, and photos from users' devices.
