A two-alarm blaze swept through three adjoining homes on 47th Avenue between Irving and Judah streets in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset district late Wednesday morning, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. Firefighters rescued three adults from the structures; one victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition while the other two sustained less serious injuries. Crews also saved a household pet, which was treated by paramedics at the scene. The fire was brought under control after more than an hour of operations that involved multiple engines and ladder trucks. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, and officials have not yet provided an estimate of property damage.
