Saudi Arabia's crude oil exports increased notably in June 2025, rising to between 6.33 million and 6.36 million barrels per day from approximately 5.88 million barrels per day in May, according to data from Kpler and Bloomberg tanker-tracking. This represents an increase of around 441,000 barrels per day, or about 7%, as the kingdom seeks to regain market share within the OPEC alliance. Additionally, Saudi crude oil production rose by 173,000 barrels per day in June, reaching 9.356 million barrels per day. Data from JODI indicates that crude exports in May were around 6.191 million barrels per day, slightly up from 6.166 million barrels per day in April. Combined crude and refined product exports were approximately 7.56 million barrels per day in May, a marginal increase from April. Direct crude burn in Saudi Arabia also increased from 0.377 million barrels per day in April to 0.489 million barrels per day in May. Crude inventories were reported at 140.912 million barrels in May, compared to 1143.534 million barrels in April, though the April figure appears anomalous.
