Olympique de Marseille secured their first victory of the Ligue 1 2025-26 campaign with a 5–2 win over newly promoted Paris FC at the Stade Vélodrome on Saturday. Mason Greenwood opened the scoring from the spot in the 18th minute and set up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a swift 2-0 lead eight minutes later, before Ilan Kebbal pulled a goal back for the visitors. Paris FC drew level in the 58th minute through Moses Simon, but Aubameyang restored Marseille’s advantage on 73 minutes after capitalising on a poor clearance. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg added a fourth and Robino Vaz completed the scoring in stoppage time. Greenwood also missed a late penalty. The result delivers Marseille their first three points after an opening-day defeat to Rennes, while Paris FC, playing top-flight football for the first time since 1979, remain without a point from two matches.
