The RansomHub ransomware group has reportedly stolen 200GB of data from the Italian football club and is demanding a ransom for its return. This incident highlights ongoing vulnerabilities in cybersecurity for organizations, including sports teams, as they face increasing threats from cybercriminals. The attack on Bologna FC is part of a broader trend, with RansomHub also claiming responsibility for breaches at various companies and institutions across the globe, including Giorgio Visconti S.p.A. and Westborn Market, among others.
