Bournemouth has agreed to sell winger Dango Ouattara to Brentford for a fixed fee of £37 million plus add-ons. Ouattara, 23, who previously played for Lorient, will join Brentford to fill the void left by Bryan Mbeumo, who transferred to Manchester United. The deal includes travel and medical tests scheduled for Ouattara and his agent. To replace Ouattara, Bournemouth is close to finalizing a £25 million transfer for Liverpool winger Ben Doak, who impressed during his loan at Middlesbrough in the Championship last season. Meanwhile, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has expressed dissatisfaction with the club's defensive options following Levi Colwill's ACL injury. Maresca criticized alternatives Benoît Badiashile and Wesley Fofana for their lack of competence in build-up play and emphasized the need for a new central defender. He also indicated that Alejandro Garnacho is expected to join Chelsea to strengthen the left side. Additionally, Chelsea is reportedly planning to send a starlet to Bournemouth to replicate the successful development model used with Colwill.

🚨👀 Maresca: “On the left side we have Jamie and Tyrique George, so probably also there we need something”. That player will be Alejandro Garnacho. 🇦🇷 https://t.co/mQ3vDMz8KY
🚨 Maresca insists on new CB: “Fofana played 45 mins in middle of the three, one of the worst halves from us”. “Badiashile… Conference League final, first half, losing 1-0. We changed him with Levi and won 4-1. It's not the same. The one in the middle is so, so, so important”. https://t.co/scpzY1MjFz
