AFC Bournemouth has secured the permanent signing of 18-year-old winger Ben Doak from Liverpool in a deal valued at about £25 million. The agreement, confirmed by both clubs on Monday, includes a buy-back clause that would allow Liverpool to re-purchase the Scotland youth international at a later date for a pre-agreed fee. Doak made 10 senior appearances for Liverpool after joining from Celtic’s academy in 2022. At Bournemouth, he will adopt a new shirt name and is expected to compete for minutes on the flanks as the south-coast club continues its effort to strengthen attacking options ahead of the Premier League campaign.
