Everton have completed the signing of winger Tyler Dibling from relegated Southampton for a package worth close to £40 million. The Premier League club said the England Under-21 attacker has agreed a four-year contract and will join David Moyes’s squad with immediate effect. People familiar with the agreement said Southampton will receive an initial £35 million, with a further £5 million tied to performance-related add-ons. Earlier reports suggested the total outlay could rise to as much as £42 million once bonuses are triggered. Dibling, 19, was one of last season’s most prolific ball-carriers in the top flight despite Southampton’s poor campaign and has been tipped as a future England senior international. His arrival follows Everton’s recent purchase of Jack Grealish, giving Moyes additional creativity on the flanks ahead of the new campaign.
