Liverpool right-back Jeremie Frimpong will miss all fixtures up to the September international break after suffering a hamstring injury, manager Arne Slot confirmed on Thursday. Frimpong picked up the injury in the Premier League win over Bournemouth and will not be available for Monday’s trip to Newcastle United or any subsequent matches before the league pauses in early September. Slot said he hopes fellow right-back Conor Bradley will recover in time to face Newcastle, but the Northern Ireland international remains a fitness doubt.
