
England manager Thomas Tuchel has announced a 24-man squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia, leaving out right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold only weeks after his €10 million move from Liverpool to Real Madrid. Tuchel handed first senior call-ups to Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson and full-back Djed Spence, rewarding the pair for strong early-season form. Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford returns after missing the last international window. Phil Foden and Jack Grealish were also omitted, while injuries rule out Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer. The group assembles early next week before travelling to Andorra on 6 September and hosting Serbia at Wembley three days later.
