AutoGen, an open-source programming framework for agentic AI, is undergoing significant developments. The project, now rebranded as AG2, aims to enhance community participation through an open-governance structure. Key contributors, including Chi Wang and many enthusiastic contributors, are excited about this new chapter. The AutoGen team is also working on improving AutoGen Studio, with new features such as real-time agent updates and enhanced run control enabled by the AutoGen 0.4 preview API.
