Flux has launched FluxEdge Alpha, a new decentralized computing platform aimed at transforming and harnessing global computational power. The platform allows users to deploy and utilize high-performance GPUs, such as NVIDIA 3070ti, 4070ti, and RTX 3080, for various computing tasks, including running LLMs. The average retail cost of a 3070ti is $530, translating to roughly $4.3 million in cards deployed in FluxEdge Alpha. The platform also aims to address the GPU shortage by creating a decentralized computing marketplace. High-performance GPUs from the Akash Supercloud, including NVIDIA H100, will be added to FluxEdge, enhancing its computational capabilities.
