Google Launches AI Video Tool Using Text Prompts and Firebase Genkit at Google I/O

Google has launched a new AI-powered video tool designed to enhance video editing capabilities. Announced at Google I/O, the tool uses text prompts to generate high definition videos with an emphasis on quality and controllability. This is part of Google's broader initiative to integrate generative AI into its services. Additionally, Google introduced Firebase Genkit, an open-source generative AI integration framework, which includes a unified API for large language models (LLMs) and local developer tooling. Firebase's new and updated services aim to help developers build, deploy, and optimize production-ready generative AI applications. Furthermore, Google has introduced Firebase AI Monitoring in private preview, providing real-time insights into the performance and behavior of features built with LLMs.
