Microsoft Relaunches Copilot Chat for Business with Free AI Interactions, Pay-As-You-Go Agents, and Microsoft Office Integration
Microsoft has relaunched its AI assistant, Copilot, now branded as Copilot Chat, aimed at enhancing productivity for business users. The new offering includes free AI interactions and a pay-as-you-go model for agents, with metering available through Azure's Copilot Studio. This initiative allows employees to utilize AI tools across Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Despite its advancements, the launch faces skepticism regarding its adoption and effectiveness. Notably, Salesforce has been recognized for launching similar AI agents ahead of Microsoft, positioning itself as a competitor in the generative AI market.
