Nvidia said it will open Gamescom 2025 with an online “GeForce On Community Update” on 18 August at 3 p.m. ET. The event will spotlight what the company calls “major GeForce Now news,” alongside demonstrations of new GeForce software features and previews of forthcoming PC titles. The Santa Clara-based chipmaker emphasized that it has no plans to unveil new graphics cards or other hardware during the Cologne-based games convention. Nvidia’s last major GPU launch—the RTX 50 series—arrived eight months ago, and the firm typically waits more than a year between hardware generations. By focusing on its cloud-gaming platform and software enhancements, Nvidia is positioning the Gamescom appearance as a service-oriented update rather than a product reveal.
