Banco Sabadell and Antai Ventures have launched Necta Ventures, a venture capital fund of funds targeting €100 million. The fund aims to democratize access to high-return investment opportunities traditionally reserved for institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals. Investors can participate with a minimum investment of €100,000. Banco Sabadell will contribute €15 million as seed capital, and the fund is designed to double or triple the committed capital over its ten-year duration. The first close and capital call are scheduled for March 2025, with the investment period beginning in April 2025. Necta Ventures integrates ESG criteria into its investment process and has received approval from Spain's CNMV for commercialization. The fund combines the expertise of Banco Sabadell and Antai Ventures, led by Miguel Vicente and Angel Garcia, which have collectively invested in over 150 companies, including notable startups such as Glovo and Wallapop. Investors can access the fund through channels like Sabadell Urquijo, catering to high-net-worth clients.
