IDC Ventures, a Madrid-based investment firm, has launched its inaugural fund of funds, named VC4 FoF I, with a target cap of €150 million. The firm has already secured €33 million in commitments. The fund aims to diversify investments across technology sectors in Europe, the United States, and Latin America, with plans to invest in approximately 30 venture capital firms. This initiative reflects a growing trend in venture capital to leverage fund of funds structures to enhance investment portfolios and manage risk.
