TravelPerk, a Spanish startup specializing in business travel management, has successfully raised $200 million in a Series E funding round, nearly doubling its valuation to $2.7 billion. The funding was led by European venture capital firm Atomico, with participation from EQT Growth and other investors. In addition to the funding, TravelPerk has announced the acquisition of the Swiss expense management startup Yokoy for a sum reported to be in the nine-figure range. Founded in 2015 and backed by SoftBank, TravelPerk continues to expand its services amid a challenging market for travel companies.
