Despite a 2.4% decline in net profit for the second quarter relative to 2024, the bank's overall performance exceeded market forecasts. Unicaja also announced an interim dividend of 169 million euros and improved its 2025 outlook for net interest margin and profitability. The positive results led to a surge in Unicaja's stock, propelling it to the top of the Ibex 35 index. Meanwhile, Bancamiga reported an exceptional performance and maintained a strong leadership position in the first half of 2025.
