Tina Charles registered the first 200th double-double in WNBA history, collecting 23 points and 10 rebounds as the Connecticut Sun edged the Chicago Sky 94-84 at Wintrust Arena on Saturday. Bria Hartley matched Charles with 23 points, hitting all three of her three-point attempts, to help Connecticut secure its third consecutive victory and just its third road win of the season. The Sun, now 9-27, led by as many as 21 before weathering a late Sky surge that trimmed the margin to four with five minutes remaining. Chicago coach Tyler Marsh was ejected two minutes into the second quarter after arguing a no-call, and the Sky (9-27) never fully recovered despite 19 points from Kia Nurse and an 11-point, 11-rebound effort from rookie forward Angel Reese. Charles, already the league’s all-time leader in double-doubles, further cemented her standing with the milestone performance.
