Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square Capital Management disclosed a new position in Amazon valued at about $1.28 billion, buying roughly 5.82 million shares during the second quarter, according to the hedge fund’s latest 13F filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The New York-based manager also boosted its holding in Alphabet’s Class A shares by an estimated 21%, adding around 925,000 shares. Smaller purchases were reported in Hilton, Hertz and Brookfield, while the fund exited its stake in Canadian Pacific. The filing offers a snapshot of Pershing Square’s portfolio as of 30 June 2025.
