A recent survey by Charles Schwab reveals a significant shift in investment preferences among U.S. investors, particularly millennials. The $9 trillion study indicates that nearly half of the respondents plan to invest in cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) within the next year, up from 38% a year earlier. Specifically, 62% of millennial investors expressed a strong preference for crypto ETFs, making it the most popular asset class for this demographic. The survey, which included 2,200 investors, highlights a growing trend towards digital assets, with crypto being the second most popular choice for ETF investments across all age groups. The increased interest in crypto ETFs comes amidst a broader trend of wealth transfer, with $84 trillion expected to move from older generations to younger, more tech-savvy investors.
