Trading volumes picked up shortly after market participants noticed the update, although the company has not released a formal statement clarifying when the designation was granted. The Taipei-founded firm provides artificial-intelligence software for security, video analytics and so-called smart-city applications. Partner status gives Gorilla access to Nvidia’s hardware and developer resources, potentially widening the reach of its AI products at a time when governments and enterprises are stepping up spending on urban-management technologies.
