MicroStrategy, Palantir, and Axon Enterprise have officially joined the Nasdaq 100 index, effective December 23, 2024. This rebalancing replaces Illumina, Super Micro Computer, and Moderna. Palantir is noted to be the 19th largest weighting in the index, marking a significant milestone for the company as it becomes part of the prominent tech-focused index. The changes were confirmed on December 22 and have now been enacted as the market opened on December 23.
