MicroStrategy, led by founder Michael Saylor, is aiming to become the world's first trillion-dollar Bitcoin bank. In a recent discussion with Bernstein analysts, Saylor outlined the company's ambitious plans, emphasizing its goal to dominate the Bitcoin banking sector. MicroStrategy currently holds approximately $16 billion worth of Bitcoin, having accumulated over 252,000 BTC, making it the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin. Saylor believes the company can raise significant capital, stating, "I think it's infinitely scalable. I don't have any problem seeing how we could raise $100 billion more capital and then $200 billion after that." He envisions MicroStrategy creating various Bitcoin capital market instruments, including stocks and fixed income products, to facilitate its banking operations. The company is positioning itself to leverage low borrowing rates to invest further in Bitcoin, with Saylor expressing confidence in Bitcoin's future value, suggesting it could reach millions per coin.
